The Cube3 boot is essentially a revamped version of the I-type boot, the easiest going boot there ever was. Head took of all the comfort oriented features of the I-type and improved the fit and performance of the boot. The Auto-Ski/Walk mode allows for more freedom when clomping around the lodge and locks into place right when you step into your binding. We spend 30% of our ski day out of our bindings anyways, so why not make the experience easier? These boots also open in sort of a rear-entry style, which makes for an incredibly smooth entry and exit from the boot.

70 Flex Index: This boot has a flex rating of 70, which is best suited for beginner and intermediate skiers. Softer boots will be more comfortable, but won't offer enough stability at higher speeds. Stiffer than 70 will give that stability, but start to get a little less comfortable.

EC106 last: EC106 last: The forefoot width of this shell is 106mm, but the EC last is a more advanced high volume boot than Head's other wide boots.

heatfit linerHeatFit liner with anatomical footbed: This liner will adapt to the shape of your feet and lower leg, just by wearing them. The self molding inserts will make the boot more comfortable the more you wear them. The anatomical footbed has additional support in the heel and arch, and has a solid, yet comfortable feel while skiing.

35mm strap: Wider than average strap at the top of the boot to help keep the boot together and to give good performance while skiing.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Macro adjust ladder (SuperMacro): The tooth plate opposite the top buckles can be moved in or out for a huge range of adjustment, and to fit narrow to wide lower legs.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.

Auto-Walk heel: A button in the back of this boot is engaged automatically by the heel piece of the ski binding, stiffening the boot and putting it in a 'ski stance.' When the boot is taken out of the binding, the button automatically pops back out relaxing the fit for easier walking.

Easy-Entry Concept: The 'Easy-Entry Concept' is essentially an inverse shell overlap, making the boot open significantly wider at the top of the instep, making it easier to put on and take off than traditional shells.
