The Nomad Whiteout is a moderately stiff flexing all-mountain performance ski for strong skiers east or west. Fat enough to float in soft snow and cut enough for high speed carving, the Whiteouts are definitely an everyday, every-run ski, regardless of snow conditions or available terrain--it'll handle whatever. Features: Color: Hologram silver- You've never heard of that color before and we've never seen it. It will absolutely blow your mind. Atomic 4-D Topsheet: Underneath the topsheet is a honeycomb like hologram that looks way cool (like dude.) The topsheet itself is very scratch resistant, this ski looks cool now and will look cool 3 seasons from now. Beta TFC: Shor t for Torsion Flex Control, and it means that the skis are lighter weight without sacrificing torsional stiffness. This is good because a skier has better control with a lighter weight ski, and doesn't loose out on edge grip on firm snow. Dura Edge: Treated solid steel edge holds up to abuse well. The hardness of the steel will keep its sharpness for a long time, and reduces the need to get your edges sharpened as often. UHMW Electra Graphite: Ultra High Molecular Weight means the base material is very dense and very hard. This makes the base resistant to scratches from rocks and other things your bases might run into. Hard bases such as this glide very well (that means they're fast), but do require a little more work to keep them healthy.
